Curry house with the friends

Today was a nice little meet up with the friends.  Everyones now settled in with their jobs so when we have the opportunity we like to meet up for a meal and catch up.

Tonight we decided to go for a curry night. It's great hanging out and having time out from it all.

So when everyone is free we try and meet  everyones life is moving skt fast and soon one of of our mates may be getting married and we might not get the chance to do this often so were making the most of the time we have together.

Since I got this new phone, I've been trying out the capabilities that the phone has.

There are all these new apps I can use and the social media apps that I never thought I would be interested in turn out to be great. One of the apps I'm really enjoying is pinterest.com I've only just scratched the surface.

There is so much I can do with this new fone and I cant wait to nake thw most of Pinterest.

New phone cover

I got pretty impatient and decided to go in-store and start getting  the accessories for my new phone. 

Once I started getting the covers and screen protectors.

The guy came over and asked if the accessories were for me and I told him hopefully should have it soon and its in the post. 

He told me, what would you say if you could have you phone right now. I told him that would be amazing. So here I am with my new phone and new phone cover too. There's another cover with butterflies and designs in the post.

This phone is great for blogging and adding pictures and videos couldn't be easier. Well chuffed with my new phone and all the great things I'm going to do with it.

Upgrade

I've finally managed to get my phone contract sorted. I've upgraded my phone to a Samsung S3 so really looking forward to getting in the post soon. Fingers crosse should be arriving on Friday, if it's running late might have to wait until Monday.

Cannot wait until I get my new phone. I specifically got it for its blogging capabilities and the nice camera it has so soon I'm going to be able to blog on the move.

Enough about my phone. Today I spent my day shopping with family that's visiting from back home. They are going to be here for 2week, so I want to spend lots of time with the while they're here. We went to Westfield, it's an absolutely massive shopping city. I didn't really buy much today, just a top some shoes and. Few accessories considering that we spent almost 4 hours in the shopping centre walking in and out of shops.

I must admit I'm pretty pleased with what I got and am looking forward to wearing them out soon. I'm thinking of adding pictures of my shopping haul as well. I've seen a few blogs that share their shopping bag with everyone and I ink it might be a great little way to share something I really seem to be enjoying right now...shopping.

Engagement

Yesterday was a nice ocassion. A friend of mine from school was getting engaged. I spent most of the day getting ready making myself look presentable.

I used to really enjoy weddings and engagement parties. It was always something I felt was special and perfect. The bride looked like a princess and they all looked so happy. But the more I grow up and the more I see in relationships and how the real world is I don't look at weddings the same anymore. They say ignorance is bliss that innocence is what makes the world pretty...they were right.

Yeah unfortunately this has turned out as a rather sombre post, but the constant stream of people breaking up, couples slipping up and family getting divorced makes enagament parties and wedding seem like and inevitable disaster waitingto happen.

I do hope that one day my view changes, that at some point I can be mesmerised and believe that weddings work. But right now I can't seem to look at couples and weddings the way I used to.

Holiday

HOLIDAY!!!

Its finally happened, I'm having my first holiday since I started working at my new job. I have the whole week off so that's a total of 9 days off work. 9 days of waking up when I want and 9 days of sleeping when I want. I can go where I want and try and get the most of my time off. There are so many things that I want to get done. 

The opticians keep sending me post asking to go for a eye test. I have some family I want to go and see and go cinemas with friends. For some reason I want to feel a bit more cultured. So I also plan to visit a few museums and galleries. Take my camera and at book and sketch book.

I plan to keep you all updated on the goings on of my time off work and all the things I get up to. Who knows maybe I'll be blogging more often since I will actually have time for myself now.

Right now I've decided to focus a bit on my blog and look after it a bit better, get all the words out and express all the things that are on my mind.

So many things I want to do. I just hope I get around to doing them.
