Topshop has finally pulled me in

I've always told myself topshop is stupid, thats its over priced and just too out there for me to actually buy anything from it.

Well I finally caved and bought a few things from there. I have to admit I didn't get any clothes from there. Just jewellery. I liked the look and the way it looked worn out, plus I wanted a nice statement jewelry piece for a few dresses and tops i have. Recently i've been more interested in simple tops and using jewellery and accesories to bring them to life and make it an outfit,

I've found my perfect silver necklace with crystals and spikes and now I have my rustic gold neclace with spikes.

Clothes and fashion has become a massive part of me on my journey. I guess its been my way of trying to distract myself and keep myself entertained. By caring about what I wear and how I put my outfit together and the style im coming across as having stops me from thinking about other things.

So in the end I have succumb to topshop and have started to rather enjoy my shopping trips there to the point that I'm not just browsing, but actually buying things now.

The Unexpected *Completed*

Today work was quite nice, there was lots to catch up on even though I was only gone for a day. Tuesdays are quite busy because you have a big meeting about what needs to be done, and well wednesday is the day to get it all done. My day was busy but I managed to get through it.
Just as my day was about to end, I turned around and found everyone gathered around my desk with a bag and wine. They did remember my birthday and they all suprised me with a sneak attack. I was sk surprised and the minute I became center of attention I couldn't stop blushing and went bright red. 

They got me such lovely presents, because the week before was my old bosses last day so I went shopping with the girls on my desk and went out looking for sonething to get her. But as I shop I always manage to  pick out thigs I like and comment on all the things I notice as being great or that catch my attention. What I didn't realise was the girls had kept an eye out on the things that I wad talking about and showing off and they picked thslem out for me.

I got a chocolate monkey, a bottle of buck fizz, a pretty photo frame and a candle that smells absolutely amazing that comes in  a sweets jar to lock in the amazing smell.

It was lovely of then to get me all these great presents and I couldn't imagine a nicer way to spend my first birthday at work.

Birthday dinner with family

Since it's my birthday we all went out for dinner. Instead of doing the usual Turkish restaurant I wanted something different and took them all to Busaba eat Thai for some yummy Thai food. 

We had spring rolls pad Thai and seafood noodles.  The food was great and we cleaned our plates. Something unheard of in my family of fussy eaters.

We got up feeling full and satisfied.

Now back to my twilight marathon. 

I've also started re-reading the series on the train. So who knows I might even write the sequel to my fan fiction while I sit on the train to work.

So my next task is to buy a nice notebook to write my rough draft that I can later type up and post online.

Twilight marathon results

Last night I only made it halfway through new moon, which is just disappointing.

I've decided to continue the marathon and now I'm about to finish eclipse. Immersing myself in twilight has been great. 

It's given me the chance to just forget everything for a little while and escape into the twilight universe.

 

Being my birthday I had a nice little surprise from my brother too. I got breakfast in bed and now just any breakfast he went all out.

Now I'm off to go have Thai food with my parents.

Twilight marathon

Yes I'm a twihard!

I love everything twilight and will do so always. So tonight I'm feeling like doing a bit of a twilight marathon. I'm sitting here with a cup of sweet tea. I've got my box sets lined up with the commentary on and just chilling out with the twilight cast.

I wonder how far into the saga I will make it before i fall asleep. My prediction is that I'll make it halfway through eclipse but I hope i make it a little further than that. Making it all the way to the end is pretty  there's like atleast 609 minutes of twilight to watch.

It's midnight and I'm about to start a twilight marathon.

House party

In the end I decided to go to my mates house party. It was a good decision, I had a great time and was even surprised when they got me a birthday cupcake and signed a card for me.

The party lasted til 3am. We played a few drinking games played music and laughed the night away.

I've decided to move my birthday party with cousins to another time not too sure when I'll do it. Everyone is really busy with planning the wedding and all the stag and hen nights that are going on.

I hope that at some point in my life that I'll be able to throw a great party when I finally move out or the situation at home changes.

Living at home has its advantages but it also comes with a few drawbacks. Not being able to throw a party is one of them.

I hadn't noticed but I've just hit 100 posts, and this makes it 101.

Kind of funny when you put a number on it. 

It's been 101 posts and in still no closer to finding my feet and feeling like I know where I'm going in life. Some people telk me just enjoy where you are now and go where it takes you. But what if you miss your turning in life and end up not being the person your supposed to be, going where your supposed to go in  life and end up having the wrong life.

Well 101 posts and no closer to finding my feet, what if I never do. Well here's to hope, and hoping that at some point all the broken pieces in my life will fall into place and I find my feet in life.
