Mid week drink up

I do not condone drinking, promote it or encourage others to do it. If it's something you to decide on your own, if you know your limits then your fine in my books.

Sometimes it's nice to just meet up with a friend, have a meal, have some wine with your food and have a chit chat and catch up.

That was the plan anyway...But since my saturday night plans were thwarted last minute I had this unresolved need to go out and have a good time.

So we both met up in Camden and had a look around the places which sort of fancied going to. I had a rough idea of the places I wanted to go to and in the end we decided on Gilgamesh. Quite a posh swanky place with wood carvings on all the walls, mahogany tables, large statues and pillar decorated in mosaic artistry.

The place looked great, the prices were pretty steep but my guess is you were paying for the atmosphere too.

After a few nibbles and a Gilgamesh cocktail we made our way to a club I've been to a few times. I must admit it was a bit funny because it happened to be a student night, which just made us laugh. We spent most of our night guessing how old the other people were and if they used fake IDs to get in. It was hilarious.

Overall a great night and was quite nice to have time with a friend just the two of us instead of the usual group situations we normally find ourselves in.

Lovedough

Last night was Lovedough a night at Camden Proud.

It was a bit of a rocky ride trying to get everyone there.

There were a few last minute cancellations a few drop outs and a little argument while getting ready to leave.

But in the end we got there and there was a slow start but overall was a pretty good night. I've manahed to leave my phone in my cousins car, so at some point will need to get it back from her today, but something that did come out of this night was some nice photos. The night was kicked off with a few dance crews, which I must admit were pretty good. There was live art being drawn as you can see in the picture, and a nice mix of songs by the DJ on the night.

The plan is to try and organise another night where everyone can come, and a night where no one is working and everyones free.
