Birthdays all round

Its birthday season and lots is going on this week.  I've been trying to orgabise my birthdah party get together thing with friens and its just not happening. The one with my cousins seems like I may need to be cancelled too. I remember how  Before it was alot easier to get everyone together and go out for birthdays, now it seems to be sooo difficult.

Ive realised that everyone is soo busy that you have to celebrate in groups. And what used to be one big birthday now turns into multiple nights out in around the time of your birthday.

My actual birthday is tuesday but I'm going out for a meal and drinks with my work mates on friday, with dribks after. Theb saturday is a bit akward because I've tried planning a night out with cousins but no one is giving me a difinitive answer so i think I'm cancelling it and doing something else wheb everyone can make it. Im not tp down avout cancelling because my mates are throwing a house party ive bee  invited to.

My birthday bonanza wilk be spilling over obto next weekend too. I'm having a big night out at a swanky bar in regents next saturday and then having a birthday get together with friends at some point too.

Sometimes in life, it's so slow and nothig happens and then you have a pean period where its non stop busy where everything happens at once and they always manage to clash.

Overall the important thing I guess is to spend time with people and try to make the most of it.

Lovedough

Last night was Lovedough a night at Camden Proud.

It was a bit of a rocky ride trying to get everyone there.

There were a few last minute cancellations a few drop outs and a little argument while getting ready to leave.

But in the end we got there and there was a slow start but overall was a pretty good night. I've manahed to leave my phone in my cousins car, so at some point will need to get it back from her today, but something that did come out of this night was some nice photos. The night was kicked off with a few dance crews, which I must admit were pretty good. There was live art being drawn as you can see in the picture, and a nice mix of songs by the DJ on the night.

The plan is to try and organise another night where everyone can come, and a night where no one is working and everyones free.

Curry Night

Today was great...I won't lie to you, it didn't start off great... I had soo much to do and soo little time to do it in. But one thing kept me going-the thought of a name on it.

Tonight was curry night with the guys from work. Fingers crossed we make it into a tradition because I had such an amazing time...I don't remember the last time I laughed soo much.

After work we all went from west to east so we can go to Brick Lane(for those that don't know its a whole street with nothing but restaurants, where you can find a good old curry to make your mouth water. In London if your craving a curry you go to the infamous Brick Lane.

There was 10 of us all together. Some went for vegetarian, some went for the really mild korma others adventured with a massala and bhurma. Luckily we got 20% off discount on the food and the drinks from the local off licence (and no I am not condoning drinking....but lets be honest you can't have a curry without a beer).

After we had our curry we found a nice little bar with seating outside and spent the rest of the night continuing our conversation and having a laugh. I spent the entire night with a massive smile on my face just enjoying the company and thinking how lucky I am that I found a job where the group of friends I've made are worth having around.

Overall I had a great night and cannot wait for the next time we have a proper night out...preferably on a Friday night or over the weekend so we don't have to worry about work the next day.

Lots of love
