It's back to the drawing board. Recently my focus has been a bit more on cooking simply because I couldn't find my skecthpad. My fashion interest is still and I've been looking into it alot more. I've found a few designers I like. My favourite so far is Alexander McQueen his style is edgy and he has soo much range in his collections, his outfits in each season vary soo much but still have the McQueen feel to it, that brings the collections together.
After a bit of research and practise I've decided I wanted to improve my drawing style and make it better. Once I looked up a few poses I've managed to draw my gowns differently in poses, which better suit the outfit and portrays it in the best light.
These outfits are a bit more long, elegant and flowing. I'm focusing more on softer curves and elegant line. My preference is exposed shoulders either with a sweatheart necklines, bustiers or asymetric off the shoulder tops. When I think of material my mind goes to royal blue silk for the dress on the right with pale blue chiffon for the long drapes. With the off the shoulder dress on the left I'm thinking silk or velvet with a possible side slit.
I feel like I can talk about the outfits in my head for hours, there are simple ones, over exaggerated couture dresses just for the runway shows.
There are a few bridal gowns that keep changing in my head. Now all that's left is to stick to it and get all my ideas onto paper and maybe even once day have come to life so I can show my ideas to everyone. For now these are the dresses that have been on my mind. The one on the left is a possible bridal dress that gives a nice silhouette and grace.
Lots of love
