In the west end

Today I got out of bed made my breakfast and went straight to the west end. I did a bit of window shopping and went to see the christmas lights.

This year the christmas theme is Marmite. "You either love it or you hate it". There were a few different lights, there was santa turning green at the smell of Marmite, elves puking into stockings, and fairies that looked like they were quite enjoying Marmite on toast.

Marmite for those of you who haven't heard of, or tasted is a spread that's made from yeast extract, which is pretty salty, often spread on toast. Marmite is a very British product that you either love or hate.

The christmas lights weren't mind blowing, they were pretty dull in my opinion. I feel like the window displays were more much more interesting, which is a shame really because oxford street usually inspresses and inspires.

The window display for Selfridges was quite nice, this one was nutcracker inspired and looked quire nice, the doll on the right was turning like a pretty ballerina.

I thought this was a pretty good window display. A nice little bit of glamping(glam camping) meets childhood experience of having a make shift tent in the middle of the living room.

Once me and mum did out shopping and walked the whole of Oxford street I decided since were so close we might aswell go full on christmassy and go winterwonderland aswell. Winter Wonderland comes around every year, its like a chritmas themed funfair/carnival. With the big wheel, bauble ride and the sled rollercoaster.

I've been there every year since it first started and it's a nice place to be when the weather gets a bit chilly and you've got your bobble hat and mittens on. It's a place where you get a touch ofchristmas spirit.

Today taking out my camera with me was great and I think I will most definately be keeping it in my bag from now on to capture all the great places I go and all the interesting things I see. I hope you guys liked the pictures and if you're in the UK I would deinately recommend visiting Winter Wonderland and Oxford street. I never got round to going to Harrods, so I'm going to save that for another weekend.

Lots of love
