Christmas Gifts

Gifting is the best bit of the Christmas holidays for me.

I've never been the kind of person who likes the superficial presents that cost alot, the kind that you quickly walk into a shop and buy.The thoughtful presents are always the ones at the top of my list. I don't if they are small, cheap or hand made, as long as I know someone clearly took took the time to pick something that means something to you and fits your personality.

Seeing that someone has listened to a fleeting conversation you had, took note of something you've always wanted, or getting you something that reminds them of you means the world more to me than an quick over the counter generic present.

This year I've put some thought into the things I wanted to buy everyone and hope that everyone will like them.

I've newly discovered the shop Tiger and I can't believe its taken me this long to come across them and have the nerve to walk in,

I absolutely adore all the little trinkets they have to offer, their random selections of things, that somehow seem to fit perfectly together to make the store the incredible place it is. Being my first visit I was in absolute awe and the little cogs in my head were turning full blast and I was on the hunt for the perfect present for my mum.

Me and my mum are complete opposites so I've always found it quite hard to shop for her. One example is our taste in jewelry.

I like my jewelry to be old, slightly vintages and my mum loves them to be sparkly silver, Swarovski diamonds and all glitter. Walking round Tiger I found her the perfect set.

I found her a diamond studded Smart pen for her phone, a diamond studded calculator for the office at work and a matching picture frame she can fill and keep at her bedside table. Alongside that got her a cute slogan bar of chocolate.

Overall I think I think it did quite well.
I can't wait to see the look on her face.

I'm still trying to put together dads gag gift, I've got a few bits and bobs an now I'm just looking for the perfect piece to bring them all together.

Luckily this year were doing presents on new year instead so I still have a few days to go, and who knows I might even nab myself a bargain in the post Xmas sales.

Lots of love
