chinease new year

Since yesterday was chinease new year. The canteen at work decided to do a chinease takeaway theme with fortune cookies. I adore chinease food, thai food asian and Japanese.  

Theres something about the flavours you get with chinease food that makes me hungry just thinking about it. 

I got a fortune cookies and cracked it open, inside was a simple fortune, short anf sweet. 

"Sometimes in life, you need to be a little bit selfish"

Its very simple and very true. The last year has made me realise that I spend so much trying to make others happy that I don't get what I want, that I'm not happy. 

So now I try to find a balance between getting what I want and compromising.
