Valentines 2013...I give it a year

It's valentines day and everyone seems to be in a rather chipper mood. The office was a buzz with roses and heart shaped chocolates.

I feel like valentines are pretty ponitless and really superficial.  As you can probably tell I'm single and don't quite understand how flowers and chocolate mens that someone loves you. You should be able to feel it all year round.

Some people say I have too much of a romantic fantasised version of how love should be. That it should be the kind that takes your breathe away,  and you can look eachother in the eyes and not say a word but still manage to feel the love they have towards you and be conpletely contempt.

Well thats my thoughts. So today I spent my valentines day at the cinemas watching the anti valentines day film.  I give it a year.

A must watch if you enjoy dry humour,  and the occassional awkward moment watching two people who clearly shouldn't be together. Its a quaint little little british comedy that I enjoyed lots. And its weird in a way because in its atempt to be an anti rom com it turned out to be a true romance. True romance and love, the kind that sometimes you're just not meant to be together. That if your really in love thats its easy, and just works.
Which kinds of makes me feel okay about being single,  because I'd rather be single waiting for the right guy with the right kind if love than forcing a doomed relationship to work.

Overall a great valentines day.

Lots of love
